For many, the concept of Forex trading can seem like a confusing and complex thing to do. Making money from trading money? It can sound ludicrous on the front of it. However, trading foreign currency (Forex) has bene around for years, and is a massive market. That’s why, if you choose to get into this kind of feature, you will find that you have so many options to pick from when you need a Forex broker. For example, Plus500 has become a big name in the CFD brokerage scene – but is it worth your time and investment?

Company History

Having been around since 2008, Plus500 is no newcomer to the industry. They have been around, and they make it very easy for users to feel safe working with the platform. It’s become part of the trusted brokerage scene, having managed to break into the FTSE 250 network. A trusted broker with a long history of being legitimate and safe, this is a company with a history that shows no signs of slowing down. It’s enjoyed rapid development since the turn of the decade, and looks to be on a pathway to becoming even bigger.

Bonus Offers Provided

Like most other platforms in the industry that is regulated within the EU, this is not a facility that provides you with any bonus offers or promotions. Like most of the big and regulated names, this is not a company that you should expect to see offering you freebies or incentives to sign up and use their platform. The quality alone is often enough.

Regulations

One thing that we will note for you is that this is regulated as part of the London Stock Exchange. It’s a publicly traded company that is part of the LSE, and as we mentioned is part of the FTSE 250 network. It’s a good choice for those without any experience or little practical experience thanks to the diversity of regulations that it must adhere to. If you wish to make sure that you use a Forex broker that does not play fast and loose with your money, then you will find that Plus500 is a good place to start – it’s regulated with good reason.

It’s regulated by top quality regulators like the Financial Conduct Authority, so you know that your investment is safe if you are using Plus500.

Trading Platforms

This is where the platform is probably at its strongest. Despite lacking customisation and options for adjusting your platform, and the lack of MetaTrader support, the Plus500 trading platform is a piece of cake to use. It’s got solid two-step user authentication for safety, and it comes with a gluttony of excellent features to put into practice as soon as you need them.

While it lacks the ability to adjust and edit your look and your layout to suit your own personal needs, the platform it provides is more than good enough to get you started. If you are looking for a Forex broker with various trading platforms, though, you will not find what you are looking for if you come to Plus 500.

Education

This site is one of the best platforms around for basic learning of the process. They have their excellent Trader’s Guide section; a thorough education platform that helps you to learn all about CFDs if you are a beginner. Good for veterans, you can learn a lot of valuable information in general as well as CFDs through the Plus500 platform.

You get a lot of good videos and articles to read, as well as access to a solid demo account. This should give you more than enough opportunity to learn about Forex and how it works without having to take any actual monetary risk.

The demo account that you do get access to though does allow you to mess around without penalty. That is a great way to make sure you can enjoy some early success, and makes the Plus 500 broker platform that big easier to work with when you need it.

Customer Support

Customer service is outstanding, though the lack of phone support is a kick in the teeth. The live chat and email support though, is fast, courteous, and reliable. They are always available, too, whereas other brokers might only have five day per week availability.

If you are looking to use a trader that makes it nice and easy for you to learn, then you should find that the support here is a good place to start. They can often answer your questions thoroughly and give you plenty of useful details about what you need to know about Forex trading in general.

In fact, you will probably find that you can get a better standard of support from their customer service team that you can from their limited education section. Their staff will be as detailed as they can regarding your queries from our findings.

Withdrawals and Deposits

The quality of withdrawals and deposits goes a long way to securing this for you to look at as long as you want. It’s a great solution for making sure that you can get some great withdrawals, with five per month being free of charge. Any withdrawals beyond five per month, though, will incur some form of fee that you have to pay.

Easy to work with and extremely easy to set up as you need, the withdrawal and deposit options allow you to easily put your money in using credit card and debit card options. You can also use bank wiring. There are no added deposit fees, too, which is always useful if you are looking to make things work out without having to spend too much money on fees along.

We recommend that if you are looking for a broker based purely on their ease of use and their fairness in deposit/withdrawal that you take a look here.

Our Verdict

While Plus 500 does have some limits, it’s a good place to take your Forex trading to if you are looking for something reliable and different. Over a decade within the industry is a big reason why this has become a global Forex trader. If you want to use a platform that you know has a trusted reputation and some great benefits, then, be sure to open up a Plus500 demo account to try it out.
